MEET DR SHAHID QADAR
Dr Shahid Qadar
MBChB · BSc (Hons)
Longevity & Preventive Medicine Doctor
Dr Shahid Qadar believes the best medicine happens before anything goes wrong. A doctor with a background in emergency medicine, he has seen first-hand what happens when health problems are left until they become urgent. At Park Square Clinic he works at the other end of that story, helping people who are well to stay well, and to feel and function at their best for longer.
He studied medicine at the University of Buckingham, graduating MBChB, and also holds a BSc (Hons). His work in emergency medicine trained him to assess people quickly and thoroughly, to look at the whole person rather than a single symptom, and to explain clearly what matters and what does not. He now brings those same skills to unhurried, face-to-face consultations.
His approach is rooted in prevention. Every consultation starts with listening: to your circumstances, your concerns and the goals that matter to you, whether that is more energy, better fitness, healthy ageing or simply peace of mind. From there he builds a plan around the fundamentals the evidence supports, including sleep, nutrition, movement and stress, with regular review, so that you take an active role in your own health rather than waiting for problems to appear.

“Medicine is not only about treating people when they become unwell. It is about supporting people who are healthy to stay healthy, achieve their goals and enjoy the best quality of life they can.”
Dr Qadar has a particular interest in longevity medicine, the field concerned with healthspan: the number of years lived in good health, not simply the number of years lived. In practice that means identifying risks early, tracking the measures that matter, and making small, sustainable changes that add up over time. He works closely with the clinic’s aesthetic team, because skin, energy and confidence are often the first places that overall health shows.
